Next milestone hit!
A big one today!
That Party Monster better not sit down! I've just gone past 50,000 words in my current WIP – the halfway mark!
52,348 words, some of which are good, some of which are okay, some of which are dreadful.
But you can't edit them if you haven't written 'em.
So another little celebration on my road to getting this first draft down. I'm on the novel again today and tomorrow, back on creative consultancy stuff on Friday.
As for tonight, I've had some notes on a comic book project come in. Nothing structural, just a change in direction with the bad guys. Easily handled.
But first, I'm going to make tea and get in a couple more chapters of the audiobook I'm listening to – The Providence of Fire by Brian Staveley, book two in the Chronicles of the Unhewn Throne.
