September on the High Republic fan calendar
How is it September? Does that mean we're in spooky season? What am I talking about? I'm ALWAYS in spooky season?
And I always like turning the page on another month in Julien Morvan's luminous Star Wars: The High Republic fan calendar.
Are you ready?
Here we go!
That's right! It's the Blade of Bardotta, Porter Engle, seen both in his prime and during the Jedi's fight against the Nihil.
I only got to write Porter twice during The High Republic. Once in The Rising Storm and later in 'The Haul', my story for the 2021 High Republic Adventures Annual. Both times were a lot of fun.
If you want to find out more about Porter, then I suggest picking up The Blade by Charles Soule and Marco Castiello. It's still one of the highlights of the entire initiative!
