Joining the Folklore Folio Fellowship

After being alerted to the existence of Snail Mail Clubs by my pal Amy Ratcliff, I took my first dive into what could become an obsession and signed up for possibly the most 'me' club I could find.

The brainchild of artists Ientie and Tom of Artis Marginalia, the Folklore Folio Fellowship sends out a monthly dispatch based around a folklorish creature (which they christen a ‘folkloren’) including a beautiful lino print, information on what to do if you spot said creature in the wild, stickers and a linked item.

This month, it's a badge indicating your membership of the Fellowship which I will proudly wear!

I love getting mail through the post and long to return to the age of pen pals so this is going to be a little package of joy every month. Plus, I get to pretend I'm in a secret society that tracks cryptids so what's not to love.

Obviously, I am now planning a trip to Scotland to see if I can spot an each uisge* (commonly known as a Selkie) in their natural environment. Wish me luck!
