From one log to another…

From one log to another…

For a paper and pen lover like me, there is something exceptionally satisfying about finishing one notebook and moving onto the next.

I started my new log book system back in April, the day before my birthday, a variation on the bullet journaling method. Every day laid out, all the tasks, the events, the wins, the bumps in the road.

Jotting everything down has helped me keep my anxiety-goblins under lock-and-key, closing the open loops that otherwise rattle around my head and stop me from relaxing.

And transferring them physically onto a page works in a way that digital systems never do, at least for me.

Have a thought. Write it down. Close the book. Get up and carry on with your day knowing it will be there waiting for you when you’re ready.

Job done.
